Resources
Here are a list of language resources that can help your Spanish language journey:
Improving your listening skills
Interactive listening is the best approach to improve your listening skills. What is interactive listening? Is the listening that takes place during a conversation. During a conversation, what you hear requires a response or action.

-
Listen to videos/ podcast on topics of your interest (one-minute and a half max for beginners; 30-minutes for intermediate).
-
Listen to the video entirely for the first time. Pay attention to the title and the images. Use your background knowledge and experiences to infer the overall meaning.
-
When you listen to the video for a second time, start taking notes (Beginners: words you hear or understand; Intermediate: detailed notes).
-
When you listen to the video for a third time, answer the six "W's": Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How. For learners at the intermediate level, write a summary after answering the six "W's."
