Our Teaching Methodology

Our teaching methods are based on communicative, task-based practices.

Communicative

Method

The communicative language method is a teaching approach that emphasizes interaction in the target language and an integrated curriculum. An integrated curriculum includes the four language skills supporting each other just like in real-life language.

Task-based

Method

The task-based lessons are sequenced activities in which the students solve a task using the target language: E.g. making a hotel reservation, shopping, going to the doctor, etc.

Assessment

Our methodology also emphasizes the importance of assessment and its alignment with objectives and activities for a successful language learning outcome. We provide formative assessment (during the lesson) and summative assessment (end of lesson or unit). Students will receive an individualized feedback report after each class highlighting their strengths and the areas for improvement along with suggestions on how to meet the learning objectives. We provide overall assessment reports during the course and a final evaluation report at the end of the course. Our customized sessions/lessons will be constantly adapted to your progress. Assessment and feedback are our "Golden Rule" tools to improve your language skills.

Coaching

Your instructor will be your coach and motivator, supporting you all the way to success. Long-term success in second language acquisition is highlighted by the "affective factors" involved within. Our dynamic and highly motivated instructors will provide you with the momentum to be interested and engaged in the learning process. We will navigate your learning process with original activities and resources.

Cross Cultural

Communications

Communication goes beyond language. Real-world interactions require cultural awareness. Our courses highlight the understanding of the cultural differences when learning a language to promote the individual’s interest in that language.
